The CSCP runs in the legal form of a non-profit limited liability company (gemeinnützige Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, gGmbH). According to the terms of its Articles of Association the Institute solely and directly serves public-benefit purposes as defined in § 51 et seq. of the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung).
